Where is Deborah?
Long considered one of "the best knitting teachers" in Marin and possibly the Bay Area, Deborah has been teaching extensively in Marin since 1976 and now brings her unique and intuitive style to a larger audience. With her passion for knitting, more than 30 yrs teaching experience and awe-inspiring enthusiasm for sharing all her tips and tricks, she focuses on making the process as easy as possible. Thousands of beginners have passed through the chairs around her table at local yarn shops, community education sites and private one on one and group lessons.
Teaching herself to knit (1964) and crochet (1970) affords her a unique beginner's perspective. Beginners are her specialty as evidenced by the popularity of her "Knitting Made Easy" classes through www.MarinLearn.com.
Deborah has a long and active student list with many seeking help regularly.
Many loyal students and customers have dubbed Deborah "the knitwizard" and will not be disavowed of the opinion that "Deborah knows everything about knitting".
Deborah is equally proficient in crocheting and basic machine knitting.
As she has stated on many occasions "It's all just knits and purls". She would love to help you discover the beauty, joy and ease of knitting.
